How-to: Access Granted Causes Communication Loss to Rdkypro Reader

Issue

When presenting a valid credential to a rdkypro reader and getting an access granted event, the 1300 or 1320 board experiences a loss of communication with the system.

Solution

Verify that the maximum current draw of your power supply hasn't been exceeded.

If an RK-AL400ULX is used the max can't exceed 4amps.

If an RK-AL600ULXCB6 is used, the max can't exceed 6amps.
