How to check the audio level on the C472 transmitter with the C601 encoder

 Items that are needed for this test are a Volt Meter and a test C472 transmitter with a C601 encoder.

Place the volt meter on the AC scale and set it to read at least 2VAC.

1. Place one meter lead on the (Black) audio wire and the other lead on the (Blue)    ground wire on the DB9 connector on the C6565 RF terminator card.
2. Remove the audio wire from terminal 2#2 on the C601 encoder.
3. Push the time test button to send a dead carrier signal to the receiver. At the    receiver the audio should not read any more than 10mV on the volt meter.
4. Reinstall the audio wire on terminal #2 on the C601 encoder.
5. Push the time test button to send a test signal to the receiver. The audio should    now read between 300mV and 1.5VAC.
