How to delete events from the Access Professional Edition Log Viewer?

Issue

The installer configured and tested the system. This generated many events that he would like to delete before presenting the system to the end customer.

Solution

  1. Close all APE2 applications.
  2. Stop the Bosch APE Service service.
  3. In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\BOSCH\Access Professional Edition\PE\Data\MsgLog.
  4. Delete or rename the log files (for example, Msg20090902.log).
  5. Restart the Bosch APE Service service and log back into APE2.
