How to troubleshoot AEC Custom Logo Error: 4032 - Invalid File Name

Question

Why does Access Easy Controller load an error '4032 – Invalid File Name' when the Custom Logo is uploaded?

Answer

The custom logo file name is case sensitive. Programs such as Microsoft Paint will set the file extension of the graphic file to upper-case when setting the file name. The file name must have the file extension in lower-case. The exact requirements of the Custom Logo graphic file are below:

  • The graphics file must be in GIF format.
  • The file name of the graphic file name must be CustomLogo.gif (e.g. Take note of the file name, as it is case-sensitive).
  • The file size should remain approximately 144x64 pixels.
  • The file size can not exceed ten kilobytes.
