To change the program of the 3012 Control Panel, a 5010 programmer is needed. The program is held in an EPROM chip and to change this, a new EPROM would have to be programmed with the new information along with the old information. The 5010 programmer and the EPROM chips that are required are no longer available. The only way to program the 3012 this is to have a 5010 programmer and the EPROM chips already on hand.
