How to connect 4-wire Smoke Detectors to D2000 Series Control Panels.

Connect the 4-wire smoke detector Alarm Loop terminals to any supervised point. Route power through a D133 (or D134) Relay Module using the following connections:

1. Relay X1+ to Panel Aux+
2. Relay X1- to Panel Ext1
3. Relay N/C1 to Panel Aux+
4. Relay COMM1 to Smoke Power +
5. Smoke Power - to panel Aux -

• Note: When using D134 relays, the connection points X2+ X2-, N/C2, COMM2, etc. can be substituted for or X1+ X1-, N/C1, COMM1, etc.
•  The control panel’s external relay output EXT1 must be programmed for the reset function (EXT1 or EXT2).
  • Set Relay Logic to Function One Only
  • Set Function One to RESET

Resetting the System

• Resetting the system takes about 20 seconds. If points do not reset, contact your alarm company for help. To reset:
  • Ensure the system is off (On light is off).
  • Press the [3] key. The display shows the following:
    • ENTER CODE TO RESET SENSORS
• Enter your passcode (Owner type passcode required). Resetting begins and the display shows the below; this procedure takes about 20 seconds:
  • RESETTING...
• After the system resets, the display returns to the off state.
