How to control Disarm Authority in the D6412/D4412.

Setting 'Disarming the System' to Disable for all 4 Authority Levels in Authority Level Configuration in Remote Programming or by setting Nibble 0376 to 0 from keypad programming will leave the operator unable to disarm the system from the keypad.
To re-enable disarming from the keypad 'Disarming the System' must changed to Enable for at least one authority level.

1) Connect to panel with Remote Programming

2) Press Diagnostics button and select Area tab

3) In Armed State row, double click on the area to be disarmed, and select Disarm, then press OK

4) Press Send Changes at bottom right of screen.

1) Configure keypad as installer keypad:

a) Address keypad to 0 with all dip switches off.

b) Connect keypad to panel in normal configuration or with double ended installer cable.

2) Close installer pin on panel.

Keypad should read: 'Trouble! Press 4 to view'.

3) Enter the installer's code (default= 6543).

keypad should read: 'Code Accepted'.

4) Press CMD 41.

keypad will begin to scroll menu items.

5) Press 8 for keypad programming.

6) Press 0367 CMD and 15 followed by * to select Disarm for all 4 authority levels.

7) Release the installer pin and return to normal operation.
