How to Correct Keypad Displaying Default Text 2000 Series

Issue

I just programmed the panel and the custom text will not show up on the Keypads.  It will tell you the correct points when they are tripped, but it doesn't display the custom text that I entered.
 
Solution
 

This problem will only occur if there is not an LCD keypad configured and programmed for address 1. 

  1. Receive a copy of the panel program and go to the Address Configuration option and verify that Address 1 is set to a TEXT keypad.
  2. Verify that one of the keypads is addressed as keypad one.
