How to determine if the ISW-EN5040 or EN5040-T is indicating AC Loss or Low Battery.

EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T LED Indications:

  • RECEIVE- Flashes when the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T receives any recognizable RF transmission.
  • TRANSMIT- Lit steady when the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T transmits an RF transmission.
  • LOW BATT- Lit steady when the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T has a low battery.
  • POWER- Lit steady Green when the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T receives AC input power. Lit steady Red when receiving back-up battery power.

The Power LED will light steady Red when running on back-up battery due to the loss of AC input power.

The EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T will send RF Low Battery signal to the ISW-D8125CW-V2 for any of the following conditions:

  1. Re-transmitting the RF Low Battery signal from a wireless transmitter.
  2. Low internal back-up battery in the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T
  3. Loss of AC input to the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T

The Power LED indicates power input to the EN5040-T or ISW-EN5040-T:

  • Solid Green: AC is available.
  • Solid Red: AC Loss; running on back-up Battery.
