Issue

How do I remove the User Code Tamper on a 6000 series panel?

Solution

Follow the below steps per the differant programming options:

RPS:

> Receive a copy of the panel

> Go into the User Interface

> Go into the Passcode Configuration and Installer Passcode section

> Change User Tamper Retry Count and User Tamper Lockout Time to 0

> Send record back to the panel, disconnect from RPS, and Reset the Panel.

KEYPAD PROGRAMMING:

> Lock down the installer pin

> Press CMD 41 and YOUR installer code. (Default is 6543)

> Press 8 to go into Programming Mode

> Type in Nibble 0381 CMD then 0 *

> Then press CMD and you will go to Nibble 0382 and now you will type 0 * again.

> After both of those are set to zero, you will now be able to release the installer pin
