Why is the control panel arming Partition 2 when I enter Command 3?
Answer
The D4412 and D6412 control panels do not use the same command menu that the D4112, D6112, D8112, and D7000/D9000 control panels use. CMD 3 performs a Part 2 Arm instead of a perimeter delay.
Use the Part On button for a perimeter delay arm. Part 2 Arm allows a user to customize points to arm. Furthermore, if no points are assigned to Part Arm 2 by using CMD 65, the control panel will not arm any protection zones. By default, none of the protection points are assigned to Part Arm 2.
