Canned smoke must be used to test the RF280THS and generate a panel alarm.
After the RF280THS test button is pressed, View Point Status will reflect the point state as changed however a panel alarm will not be generated.
Simulate an alarm following the instructions for an Underwrites Laboratories, Inc. (UL) Listed aerosol smoke detector tester, such as the Home Safeguard Industries' 25S.
