How to troubleshoot Locked Displayed on the D1252/A Keypad

Issue

When Command is pressed at the D8112 command center, "Locked" is displayed.

Solution

Prompt 82: CMD99 has an entry in place. In order for the Command key to function, enter "99" followed by this one to four digit number. If prompt 82 is left blank, the Command key functions normally.

If the D1252 Command key has no function when pressed, check the setting of dip switch #5 on the D1252. Setting dip switch 5 to off disables the Command key.
