How to turn on ground fault detection on the G series panels

Use the following steps to enable ground fault detection on a D9412G/D7412G/D7212G control panel:

1. Place Switch S4, labeled Ground Fault Detect Enable, in the locked position.
2. Set "Silent Alarm relay for Area 5" (found in Area Wide Relays) to any number other than zero.

NOTE: The Honeywell G series panels, such as the 5800G or 5900G, with firmware 5.27 and lower cannot detect a ground fault even if both of the steps above are followed.
