How to use the Auto Door function with access doors in G Series panels.

Use the Auto Door option to unlock an access door automatically upon disarming the assigned area. The door automatically re-locks upon arming the area (All-On or Part-On).

• A programmed "Lock Door" schedule does not override the Auto Door function.  When Auto Door is set to Yes and the area is disarmed:
  • If a "Lock Door" sked executes, the unlocked state of the door does not change.  The panel logs the sked as executed but the unlocked state of the door does not change.
• Note:  The panel will not allow a door to become unlocked at any time when the assigned area is armed. 
  • If an "Unlock Door" sked executes when the assigned area is armed, the locked state of the door does not change.  The panel logs the sked as executed but the door remains locked, regardless of the Auto Door setting.
