AMD CPUs support with Bosch's Dewarping Plugin for XProtect

Are AMD CPUs / GPUs supported by the Bosch Dewarping plugin for Milestone XProtect?

Answer

The plugin is able to utilze AMD GPUs for the dewarping process, however - Milestone is not supporting hardware accelerated H264/5 decoding with these GPUs and thus the overall performance is very poor and thus this combination is not recommended.

It is important to have in mind, that the dewarping process is the last step in the 'rendering' pipeline and therefore may be considered the root cause for rendering issues even though the problems are introduces already before.
