AUTODOME 7100i enters into color mode after a power cycle during night mode

Affected model: NDP-7602-Z40L , NDP-7602-Z40
Affected camera IP firmware: CPP 13 version 8.93.0031 and below

The default Night mode priority setting is set as Color. This helps to keep the camera in Color mode as long as possible. This is desirable for City Center surveillance.
In scenario #1,the customer requires the camera to be in monochrome after a power cycle that occurred when the camera is already in night mode.
In scenario #2, when there is a sudden change in the lighting while in night mode, versus the gradual shift that occurs at dusk.

Solution:

To overcome the above two scenario, it is highly recommended to change the Night mode priority to Motion.

This setting change allows the camera in scenario #1 to remain in monochrome when a power cycle occurs in night mode.
In scenario #2, the camera will also enter into the night mode sooner at dusk.
