Can I perform an OS upgrade to Win2016 on my old DIP 3000, DIP 6000 or 7000 R1?
System details:
Windows installed on Bosch server → the current version is 2008 or 2012 and the request is to upgrade it to 2016

Answer
Newer OS versions aren’t qualified to run on the older units' hardware. So, upgrading the OS is not supported by us and nor is the hardware upgrade. However, there are newer generations of DIVAR IP units running newer OS versions and your Bosch Sales representative can give you more information about them.
Note: Regarding the license transfer, the DIVAR IP / DIVAR IP AIO licenses are bound to the hardware and license transfers to a new DIVAR IP / DIVAR IP AIO unit are only possible in exceptional cases, when the hardware has failed under warranty.
