Can I switch between H.265 and H.264 on a CPP14 camera using BVMS Configuration Client?

There is no way to set/change the Codec for any CPP14 device as it can be done for CPP7.3 devices.

setting the Codec for CPP14 is a current limitation.
The Video Streams tab is missing by design.

Tested on CPP 14 cameras (in BVMS v12.1, 12.2, 12.3) and the stream settings do not show up in BVMS Config Client.

The Encoding standard for CPP 14 can be selected from the Video Streams menu in Configuration Manager and you can select different encoding (e.g. on stream 1: H265 and on stream 2: H264).

This functionality was previously accessible in older platforms like CPP7.3 under the General/Initialization settings (Check Capabilities/Update, you can see the new codec in Cameras and Recording), but for CPP 14 is not the case. Since it is missing entirely, you can’t switch between H265/H264 in BVMS Configuration Client.

For CPP14, encoding settings need to be configured individually for each stream using Configuration Manager or the Web GUI, and it will work in BVMS afterwards.
