Can the DIVAR Network 2000 send SNMP traps via Operator Client when the HDDs are full?

Question

Can the DIVAR Network 2000 send SNMP traps via Operator Client when the HDDs are full?

Answer

This is not possible. According to Release Letter for V3.1.1 and V.3.2.0 - "SNMP- No traps are launched for HDD status changes and recording stops".

The HDD_STATUS_CHANGE is triggered when the status of the hard disk changes. The HDD can have the status: OK, BAD, ERROR, MISSING.

So basically, it gets triggered when the hard disk stops working or when it gets physically removed.

If you want to get a notification when the HDDs of the DVR are full, you can Use System alarm to send email → get the alarm Disk Full and configure your Divar to send e-Mail on this event.
