'The connection is not secure. Secure connection failed' message occurs in Configuration Manager

Possible causes and solution(s)

Symptoms

"The connection is not secure. Secure connection failed" message occurs in Configuration Manager

Solution

(info)  If "The connection is not secure. Secure connection failed" message occurs in Configuration Manager, set the Security of Configuration Manager as Preferred and the Certificate requirement as None. This can be changed from the Preferences menu > Access submenu

However, be aware that certificates ensure secure communication between the Bosch Configuration Manager and devices or servers. They use encryption to protect data from being intercepted or tampered with during transmission. This is particularly important when dealing with sensitive information or controlling critical infrastructure.
