Question
What is the best practice when Auto tracking moving objects with PTZ cameras?
Answer
When using PTZ cameras with Auto Tracking, it's important to note that Global VCA can classify some static vehicles (persons) as moving vehicles (persons). This limitation cannot be addressed through configuration settings.
For instance, if your goal is to automatically track a person or vehicle entering a parking spot where other vehicles are already parked, the recommended approach is to configure Auto Tracking for a specific preset position, rather than using a tour.
Why avoid using tours?
During a tour, the camera is continuously moving. As a result, static objects, such as parked vehicles, may appear as moving to the VCA (Video Content Analysis), potentially triggering false detections or alarms.

Best Practice:
Configure the Auto Tracking of moving objects for a preset
Avoid enabling Auto Tracking while the camera is on a tour to prevent false alarms caused by the camera motion
