Why does the System Overview of my Bosch camera show the Motor controller FW version as zeros?

Answer

If the Motor controller FW version is all zeros, then either the FW has been corrupted or the internal communications between the Motor Controller and the IPBE have failed.

• Reinstall or Upgrade the FW to recover. If this doesn’t correct the issue, then attempt the following:
  • Go to app0 via http://ip/main.htm.
  • Click Boot Default Application.
  • Upgrade to the latest FW via htm page.

If this doesn’t fix it, direct the customer to use the HW Reset button to default the camera. Refer to the Operation Manual.

If this doesn’t correct the issue, then contact the Bosch Security Systems RMA desk to return the unit for repair. This case requires the involvement of the repair desk. (Follow the steps 1-5 from here)
