AEC Panel Does Not Boot Properly
This service note applies to the following symptoms:

After applying power to the system, LED 8 on the Communications Board lights up.

After about 30 seconds, LED 3 lights up shortly and the CPU Board beeps.

Then LEDs 1, 3, 5, and 7 light up and the system beeps for about 45 seconds.

The beep stops, but the 4 LEDs continue to stay lit.
Solution
Cause:

This occurs on the system when the SIM Card has not been properly installed in the Communication Board. It should be installed in the plastic locking bracket near the RS-485 terminal.
Solution:

Remove power from the system.

Mount the SIM Card following the instructions included in the SIM Card packaging.

Apply power to the AEC system.
