SafeCom Antenna Placement
The antenna should be mounted directly on the top of the enclosure. If mounting to the enclosure is not possible, mount the antenna in a suitable location as determined by best results of the IT1500 tester. For remote antenna installations we recommend using RG-58 for diatances up to 15 feet and RG-8 for distances up to 30 feet.
