What type of cable is needed to connect directly from an AEC panel's LAN 1 connection to a computer's Network Interface Card (NIC)?
Solution
The AEC controllers can connect directly to a computer with a crossover ("null-modem") cable without any other network devices involved.
The cable used can be either Category 5, 5e, or 6 with an RJ-45 termination.
