What could cause a high communications error count?
Probable Cause:

Wire between SE485 and the transponder incorrectly installed.

Wrong wire type
Possible Solutions:

Check to make sure transmit from transponder goes to receive of SE485 and receive from transponder goes to transmitt on SE485

Wire type must be twisted pair.
