First, disconnect the radio receiver from the DB9 connector on the back of the RF terminator card. Then take a C601 Encoder without the transmitter and wire it to the DB9 connector as follows:
DB9 to C601
Green to terminal 6 (12VDC)
Blue to terminal 7 (ground)
Black to terminal 2 (data)
The C601 Encoder LED lights solid for 20 seconds, then the transmitter begins transmitting. You should be able to see and hear the signals at the receiver
