Question
What causes the C900 VOLTAGE LOW and C900 VOLTAGE RESTORE messages at the D6600 or D6100i Receiver?
Answer
C900 (Battery/AC) VOLTAGE LOW message:
-
If the input voltage of the C900V2 module drops below 10.75 Vdc to 11 Vdc, the module sends this message.
-
If the input voltage of the C900V2 module rises above 11 Vdc, the module sends a restoral (for example, C900 VOLTAGE RESTORE).
Note: Some control panels cannot supply enough current for the C900V2 module, which causes the control panel´s voltage to be overdrawn. When this happens, the DC voltage output from the control panel drops below this threshold. It is advisable to ensure that a dedicated UL-listed power supply is used to ensure that enough power is supplied to the C900V2 module in this scenario.
