Issue

How can a code be deleted on the DS7400xi panels?

Solution

Use the following steps to change a passcode:

1. Enter the master code, and press [#], [0].

2. Press [0].

3. Enter the user number (001 to 090) (001-200 version 4 only).

4. Enter the authority lever (0 – 6). See below.

5. Enter the area the user has access to (1- 8), or press [#] for all areas.

6. Enter the new PIN. The new PIN must be four digits long.

7. Enter the new PIN again, and then press [#].

Authority Levels

• 0 = Master Code

• 1 = Unlimited

• 2 = General

• 3 = Arm Only

• 4 = Temporary

• 5 = Duress

• 6 = Access Code

To Delete a User Select the User Slot followed by the # key.

*Note: User 001 cannot be deleted in this manner, it must be changed in programmers mode.
