How to troubleshoot Direct Connecting to a D9412/7412 Control Panel


 

  1. Disconnect terminal strip on right side of the control panel
    Attempt access to the control panel again.

  2. If using the D5360 Direct Connect Module, ensure that the reset pin is locked.

  3. If connecting with an enhanced direct connect module, ensure that you are using a null modem cable or the supplied USB cable.

  4. Ensure the security key is installed on the RPS PC.
