How can the keypad backlighting be changed on a D222 or D223 keypad?
Solution
The user can select either of 2 options for operation of keypad backlighting. Option 1 will light backlighting continuously. Option 2 will light backlighting for 20 seconds after a key is pressed and then turn off. The keypad can be toggled from option 1 to option 2 by holding the Clear key for 5 seconds. When changing from option 1 to 2 the operator will see backlighting turn off, changing from option 2 to 1 will sound a short beep to indicate the change.
