A minimum of 5 feet of 22ga wire must be used when connecting the keypad.

Shorting terminal 9 within 5 feet of the panel will cause the panel to operate incorrectly.

The maximum wire length for all keypad wiring combined is 500 feet (22AWG).
Up to four keypads can be connected in parallel to terminals 8, 9 and 10 on the D2112.
