When programming the D279 keypad point index on the 7000/9000, G, GV2, & GV3 series panels, how should the type and response be programmed?
Solution
Program a type 7 for D279 (O/C Non-Priority): The D279 provides point arming and disarming independent of the area arm state. A non-priority D279 point arm state does not affect the area arm state. Point Response must be programmed 1. Program type 8 for D279 (O/C Priority): The D279 provides point arming and disarming independent of the area arm state. A priority D279 point must be armed before an area can be armed. Program Point Response as 2.
