Where is DRILL authority configured for B925F or B926F keypads?

Answer

DRILL authority is configured in the settings for Walk Test All Fire Points.

Operation

When DRILL is pressed for 3 seconds the keypad asks for a passcode. Fire Drill starts when the correct passcode is entered.

• Passcode requirement:

  • User Configuration à User (Keypad) Functions à Walk Test All Fire Points

    • [P] Passcode required.

    • [E] Passcode not required.

    • [ - ] Function disabled.

  • User authority:

    • User Configuration à Authority Levels à Walk Test All Fire Points.

The following occurs when a passcode with correct authority is pressed.

• The control panel sends a FIRE DRILL START report to the central station receiver.

• The Fire Bell/Fire MNS/Fire Drill output activates until a user ends the drill by silencing the Fire Bell/Fire MNS/Fire Drill.

• Fire points, gas points and MNS points are active. An alarm on a fire point, gas point or MNS point ends the drill. The control panel sends Fire Alarm/Gas Alarm/MNS point reports.

• When the fire drill ends, the control panel sends a FIRE DRILL END report.
