How can I achieve the maximum resolution of 5 MP for FLEXIDOME IP 3000i camera?
Answer
The highest resolution available (5MP) on the sensor on the camera cannot be used to the stream video when using H.265 encoding; highest resolution available with H.265 encoding is 4.2MP.
In order to stream video at a resolution of 5MP, the stream must be encoded using H.264.
This is a normal restriction due to the higher load from H.265, so in short it is as designed.
Restriction is also noted in Release Letter of FW 7.87 (Encoding)

For FLEXIDOME IP 3000i 5MP series, using H.265 limits the maximum resolution to 4.2 MP. The maximum resolution of 5.3 MP can only be achieved with H.264 encoding
