Why does the System Overview of my Bosch camera show the I/O controller FW version as zeros?
Answer
If the I/O controller FW version is all zeros, here are the possibilities:

The Alarm I/O box isn’t connected to the MIC.

The RS485 wires between the camera and the I/O box have a wiring mistake.Example, reversed leads, incorrect wire type, exceeded the maximum distance, etc.

The Application Variant in the Installer menu hasn’t been changed to MIC IP xxxx IO.

Use the HW Reset button to default the camera. Refer to the Operation Manual.

If none of the above corrects the issue, then contact the Bosch Security Systems RMA desk to return BOTH the camera and the Alarm I/O box for repair. This case requires the involvement of the repair desk. (Follow the steps 1-5 from here)
