Question

What to do if the panel LED shows ‘55’ on a DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 gen 4?

Answer

This issue may occur when the machine is shut down through Windows and then powered up again by simply press the power button on the front panel.

In this situation, as a workaround, perform a force shutdown to restart successfully the unit. Then, remove the power cord, reconnect it, and press the front power button. The machine should then start up normally.

According to the DIP 74xx BIOS post code document.pdf , the ‘55’ error indicates that the RAM is not recognized. This could be caused by an imperfect contact of the memory stick pin/s or because the data stored on RAM got corrupted.

If this issue persists, access the BIOS and load the “Optimized default” profile.

After this, the machine should be able to reboot without the need to unplug the power cord.
