Can I install Microsoft Defender or other antivirus software on the DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 (DIP-74C4-8HD) unit?
Answer
DIVAR IP all-in-one 74xx systems includes Microsoft Defender by default.
However, installing any additional antivirus software is not recommended, as stated in the unit’s Installation Manual (page 11), since can disrupt the security configurations.
Additionally, do not switch off Windows Defender and Windows firewall, and always keep it up to date.
