How to delete Legacy Recordings shown in VRM dashboard?

Legacy Recordings refer to recordings that remains until the corresponding cameras are again connected to the VRM, and their respective recordings are synchronized with the playback.

If a device is removed from the system, the associated video is kept until it is either manually deleted or the minimum retention time has expired.

Legacy Recordings belong to device(s) that are no longer in the system, and the minimum retention time of the video has not been reached. If the original device is to be replaced, the “original” recordings will “re-associate” with the new device.

If you no longer wish to keep the recordings from those cameras, you can follow the steps below to simply delete them.

Step-by-step guide

1. Access VRM Dashboard via web browser

2. Change the path location from https:// <VRM IP Address> /vrmcockpit/index/html to https:// <VRM IP Address>/unmanagedCameras.htm

3. Delete the recordings one by one or using the “Delete all” button.
