How to Reboot, Restore default setting or Factory default a VIDEOJET decoder 7000 via Configuration manager?

Applicable only for the VJD-75x3 decoders

Config Manager 7.77 and newer offers the possibility to Reboot, Restore Settings and Factory default VIDEOJET decoder 7000 series via the network, eliminating the need to have physical access to the decoder.

Step-by-step guide

In Configuration Manager, navigate to General / Initialization tab, the following options are available.

Requires Service user rights via HTTPS protocol

1. Reboot - this will reboot the decoder Operating System.

2. Restore settings - all settings will reset back to factory default except Network settings

   • Activated license will remain.

3. Factory default - this will Restore settings + Network settings will be reverted back to DHCP

   • Activated licenses will remain.

     

     
     

To restart the Monitor Wall running on the decoder, the option is available when you right-click the device.
