How to Reboot, Restore default setting or Factory default a VIDEOJET decoder 7000 via Configuration manager?

Applicable only for the VJD-75x3 decoders

If you need to perform any of the above functions remotely, this is now possible via Config Manager 7.77 and newer.

Step-by-step guide

In Configuration Manager, navigate to General / Initialization tab, the following options are available.

Requires Service user rights via HTTPS protocol

1. Reboot - this will reboot the decoder HW.

2. Restore settings - all settings will revert back to factory default

   • All setting will be removed beside,

   • Network setting will remain.

   • Activated license will remain.

3. Factory default - this will revert the decoder back to the original state as it left the factory

   • Network settings will be reverted back to DHCP

   • FW will be set back to the initial FW versions.

   • All license added will be removed, besides the factory installed licenses.

To restart the SW running on the decoder, the option is available when you right-click the device
