How to receive warning messages in Genetec Security Center from a MIC IP starlight 7100i camera?
The MIC IP Starlight 7100i camera can send warning messages to Genetec Security Center when it detects video and image quality issues.
According to the Genetec Security Center documentation it seems that a Trap Receiver can be enabled via the Industrial IoT plugin.
By properly configuring Tamper Detection and SNMP traps, you can receive alerts for events such as image quality and eventually for no Video.
Step-by-step guide
To set these, please open the Configuration Manager and follow the steps:
Navigate to the VCA tab, go to “Tasks” and add a new “Tampering” task.

After creating the task, you can edit it and enable the triggers you need.

Go to “Tamper detection” and configure your preferred settings.

Next, go to the Network tab and select "Network Management".
Expand the SNMP node, choose SNMP v1 legacy and save the changes.
Once saved, the SNMP traps field will appear. Expand the node and select viproc_alarm.

Keep in mind that viproc_alarm stand for every configured VCA task. Maybe some filtering can be done at the SNMP trap receiver side.
Note: There is no trap with content PTZ command failed.
