What happens if the VIDEOJET decoder 7000 exceeds its maximum operating temperature?
Question
What happens if the VIDEOJET decoder 7000 exceeds its maximum operating temperature?
Answer
Please note that the VIDEOJET decoder does not use any fans for cooling.
The device provides protection against thermal overload.
When ambient temperatures increase, the VIDEOJET decoder 7000 reduces the system load dynamically to match the maximum possible performance without overheating.
In case of exceeding the maximum temperature due to environmental conditions, the device will shut down the system to protect it from hardware faults.
Please make sure of the following - the operating temperature is:
0°C to +50°C (+32°F to +122°F) ambient temperature, with airflow.
0°C to +40°C (+32°F to +104°F) ambient temperature, still air.
