Why is the IP Matrix tab missing in Configuration Manager for a VJD-3000 decoder?
Answer
The IP Matrix tab is a licensed feature and is not enabled by default on the VJD-3000 decoder. The IP Matrix tab is available in Configuration Manager only when the corresponding license is activated on the decoder.
If the required license is not available or has not been activated, the IP Matrix tab is not displayed in Configuration Manager.
Note:

The IP Matrix license was managed through SLMS (Software License Management System) and according with the Product Life Cycle Announcement BVMS.pdf document, the SLMS is being decommissioned. As a result, IP Matrix licenses are no longer available for purchase.

Updating the decoder to the latest available firmware and restoring the unit to factory settings does not activate the IP Matrix functionality.
