Can the DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 2U (DIP-73xx) automatically restart after a power outage?

Yes. The DIP unit can automatically restart after a power outage, but only if this option is configured in BIOS.

Please access the BIOS menu and configure the following setting:

BIOS → Advanced → Power Options → Restore on AC Power Loss (Last State)

With this configuration:

If the unit was powered on before the power outage, it will automatically restart when power is restored.
If the unit was powered off before the power outage, it will remain off.

Note:

As mentioned in the DIVAR datasheet, is strongly recommend using an "Online UPS" (Uninterruptable Power Supply) with an always active battery.

The UPS must support Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2019 and must be sufficient to allow time to bring an auxiliary power source on line, or to properly shut down the DIVAR IP disk array(s).
