How can I resolve the “Unknown error. Err. ID: 0x0001” displayed in the VCA tab of the FLEXIDOME outdoor 5100i IR camera (CPP14.2)?

Answer

When accessing VCA → Main operation in Configuration Manager, the following error message appears: Error Unknown error. Err. ID: 0x0001

Additionally, this message is displayed even though no other configuration is active: VCA profile configuration is already in progress (e.g. via web browser)

This issue may occur when the camera firmware is not updated to the latest version.

To resolve the issue, upgrade the camera to the latest firmware version available in the Download Store.

Verify that the firmware version is compatible with your VMS version before upgrading.

After upgrading to the latest firmware version, the VCA tab functions normally and the error “Err. ID: 0x0001” no longer appears.
