What to do if the software order ID cannot be claimed?

Answer

When trying to claim a new software order ID in Remote Portal, you may receive the error message: “Insert a valid Software Order ID”.

Even if the software order ID is valid, the error may be caused  by the following typing mistakes:

  • ensure there are no spaces before or after the software order ID

  • use only lowercase letters for the software order ID, as the uppercase letters are not recognized

Make sure to correct these and try again.
