What are the hardware requirements for AI free-text search option in BVMS 13.1?
Question
What are the hardware requirements for AI free-text search option in BVMS 13.1?
Answer
BVMS 13.1 introduces an AI-assisted free-text search capability that lets operators type natural-language queries (e.g., “car collision in parking lot”) to quickly find relevant video segments via contextual metadata search.
In order to use the AI Search (free-text search) feature, introduced with BVMS 13.1, additional AI Video Processor Service is required for the image processing. Please ensure, that one or more AI Video Processor Services are installed (using a separate installation package) up and running and properly configured in BVMS.
The hardware requirements for AI free-text search option in BVMS 13.1 are:

*Performance (images/s) = No. of cameras x fps
Example: With 2fps analyzed: 10 images/s = 5 cameras
Min: 2fps (Sufficient for most of the applications)
Please consider the restrictions for using this AI free-text search feature with BVMS 13.1 as stated in BVMS v13.1 Release Notes (page 14).
